Using the drawer controller and a 5 wide and 5 tall each side I have been setting up an inventory room. I went back into the game today, and the drawers appear empty, though they are not. I can still place items and remove, but nothing shows up on the front showing what's in there anymore. Thanks if you can help. minecraft 1.8.9

I was thinking maybe it was due to steam being open. Any thoughts?

I'm on 1.11.2-4.2.9, and have the exact same issue using 1x2 framed drawers. I see everything that is inside the drawers like normal, but if I shift right click to see inside them the contents seem to dissappear, but are actually still there and can be inserted/removed like normal.

This happens with all kinds of Drawers. If needed i can Offer a Video. I think it is in connection with this bug: refinedmods/refinedstorage#1362 (comment)

Different issues being reported.

I don't offer support for 1.8.9 anymore, but it sounds more like the harvestcraft bug, if you have that installed.

The 1.11.2 issue is a visual-only problem that happens when opening the drawer UI and the slot has more than 127 items in it. This is due to a change in Mojang's ItemStack that I didn't account for. It's fixed in the latest 1.12, but may or may not get fixed for 1.11.2. Adding or removing an item should reset the drawer face.

For the other 1.11.2 issue, I don't know. I don't have a good sense for the problem being described, but it's probably not related to the visual issue. It might be on the RS integration side. The 1.11 code hasn't received the same scrutiny as the 1.12 code.
