Compacting drawers only accept blocks from pipes

This has only been tested with iron. I have Extra Utilities item pipes going into the back of my drawers and it works, except for the compacting drawers. For a compacting drawer containing iron only iron blocks will be deposited, iron ingots and iron nuggets get bypassed.
This is observed in 1.7.10-1.1.5 inside of the current FTB Lite 3 alpha pack.
Note on this: Iron, silver and lead ingots will not be accepted unless in block form. Gold ingots will be accepted. I am uncertain of other metals, but I can test if needed.
No. Especially not iron since it's vanilla.

Do you have multiple versions of those ores by any chance?

I'll have to get Extra Utilities to test (I'm not familiar with their item transport). I did a quick test with BuildCraft pipes and everything looked like it was behaving correctly. Blocks/ingots of iron/gold could be inserted into already occupied compacting drawers, or empty ones.
Can't reproduce. Are you sure this isn't just the WAILA issue?
I only tried a very simple setup with transfer nodes (chest, node, pipe, drawer). Accepted iron blocks and iron ingots. If you're encountering problems with more elaborate setups, you'll need to get specific.
I was able to reproduce the bug with this setup. In the hopper I put one stack of Iron blocks, one stack of iron Ingots and one stack of iron nuggets. They then get spread out into 3 drawers. If I put the stack of ingots before the stack of blocks only 2 drawers get filled as the first drawer accepting ingots also accepts blocks, but then the nuggets go in the next drawer. Same with gold in this instance.
I do not know why gold is being bypassed now when it wasn't in my SMP world. (Same bug exists in single and multi player).
