I am on StorageDrawers-1.9-3.1.6 and tried out the framed drawers. Placing more than 20 drawers close by dropped my fps from 40 to 25, and placing even more causes the fps to drop even more. (to 5fps with ~60 drawers)

Used framed drawers 1x1 and gave them the mossy stone brick texture.
it did not make a difference if the drawers were full or not. moving away from the drawers or even looking away stabilized my fps.
