Please add support for Natura Cotton in Compacting Drawers! Cotton crafted in a 3x3 creates one wool but this doesn't currently work in compacting drawers, and would be a very useful addition!

This doesn't work in compacting drawers because there is no reverse recipe wool -> 9 cotton. If you have Minetweaker, you can add new Compaction entries for 9 cotton -> wool.

Putting wool in a compacting drawer will still unpack it into 4 string, so I'm not sure what would happen if you did use minetweaker. Hopefully the drawer will show Wool, String, and Cotton in its three slots.

Ahhh, thanks for explaining this!! I hadn't considered that, I may need to spend some time adjusting my storage system now! Maybe I'll set up an auto-crafter for my cotton instead.

Minetweaker entries should override default behaviors (including a few default entries I register that aren't recipe-based).

You can't however get two slots populated that both convert to wool. It's an interesting use case to consider though.

Similarly, if Botania is installed, you could have Wheat converting in 3x3 to Hay Blocks and in 2x2 to Thatch.
