AE2 storage can save 655,360 items per block,and RS can save 524,288. but SD can only save 133,120 items per block,Compacting Drawers can save 1040649 = 599040.
When I play at middle or late game, I always have millions of redstone, but there is no good storage to save lots thing.
I think that if SD can save more than AE2 and RS, its great.

The upgrades section at the bottom of the StorageDrawers config file lets you increase the power of the storage upgrades. One server I play on uses 2-4-8-16-32 instead of the default 2-3-5-8-13, and it definitely makes the drawers more competitive with those disk-based storage solutions.

I cranked my Emerald one up to 512... Would like to see a nether star infinite upgrade

There is the creative storage upgrade which could have a recipe assigned to it.
