i don't know why that is but when Placing drawers the Drawers always point in the direction of the side of the block that you placed them in. (so if you place them on the north side of a block the drawer will face north too)

but why isn't it like in most mods that the drawer simply faces the direction of the player? so no matter what side you palce it on it always points the front towards the player like Dispensers, Furnaces, or any other mod's Machines

for example it is impossible to correctly place a drawer on the side of this controller without any kind of block at the bottom, top or back.

I've also never seens people actually make use of this, when do you ever need to place drawers sideways relative to the player?
