Not sure if right place to do this, new to GIthub

• Upgrade to emit redstone based on fullness, especially for the compacting drawers
• Upgrade to act as hopper, maybe per side similar to JABBA
• Upgrade to act similar to Extra Utilities filing cabinets, items with name ID and different metadata in one drawer ie wools or dyes of any color (GUI might be needed)
• Upgrade/New machine to color items GUI or AE/pipe filter access, ie wool on one side and dyes on another means access to all colors of wool
• Upgrade to compacting drawers/New machine to set crafting recipe (limited to single item used in recipe 1-9 times), ie logs to planks, bones to bonemeal, any stairs, magical crops essences that need to be in a circle on crafting table
• New machine to autocraft/make available to AE/pipes using connected drawers similar to controller functionality, ie sticks from drawer 2 blocks away + iron from drawer 3 blocks away = swords (good for often repeated craftings like pistons or chests)

Hoppers make sense for barrels, but I don't think they make sense for drawers.

In a lot of cases, I'm using storage drawers in many of the same ways I would otherwise use barrels, so I would get quite a bit of use out of hopper upgrades, particularly if they were controllable the same way as JABBA's (i.e. bidirectional, depending on settings)

I can understand how that might be a bit of undesirable workload, though.

This is best handled by a mod like super crafting frame, which can work with the drawers. Is there perhaps a problem where you can't place it on the front face but that's what you want to do?

Thoughts on this:

• super crafting frame will take up the block in front of the drawer, and that's frequently undesirable (for instance, you're standing in a corner, and you'd like a SCF on two drawers which face the same block).
• only one super crafting frame can be put on a given drawer face; if you have four things you'd like to autocraft on the fly, having four spots for it would be nice.

It's arguable this is a job for improving super crafting frame, but it would be nice if we could handle these things within the context of Storage Drawers.

Are there any existing autocrafting mods that will work with attached inventories? I know super crafting frame helps with manual crafting.

There is actually a kind of startling shortage of this kind of thing nowadays (at least, that is well-maintained). Not really your problem, but since you're doing an awesome job so far it's natural for people to hope you can continue to fill gaps.

• my plan was using it on compacting drawers with compressed cobble, passing the highest tier to the next compactor to continue the chain. Could be used for machines that need several inputs, cant think of an example right now, but something that uses multiple items as a resource maybe like a bottle + stuff to put in bottle + maybe a catalyst of some kind?
• my thought was like when an AE network sees a compacting drawer it shows all possible types at once. My idea is similar in that all colors of wool would be seen by AE etc.
• crafting frames are very similar, but i was thinking about something like the frame taking the place of a drawer to be used on the front (a longshot idea, i know)

• Inventories to deal with the "color" problem have crossed my mind, but I don't have a solution I like. It probably won't happen any time soon.

Are you sure about that? Whenever I try to craft something with a SCF from a Storage Drawer inventory, it tells me that there is a missing ingredient. Like so.
