Shift-right-clicking a storage drawer that you’ve used a drawer key on removes the lock on the item if there are zero items in the drawer

If I use a drawer key on a drawer with, say, a dirt block, and then I remove the dirt block so that the drawer has 0 items, it, of course, retains the item icon as it’s locked to the dirt block. However, if I then hold shift and right-click the drawer to see its inventory and upgrades, the dirt block disappears. The drawer still has the lock icon, but it’s no longer locked to the dirt block it was previously. This only happens when there are zero items in the drawer.
Modpack: Enigmatica 2 (version 1.63a, latest)
Storage Drawers version: 5.3.8 (latest)
Chameleon version: 4.1.3 (latest)
Minecraft version: 1.12.2
Forge version: 14.23.5.2781
I'm experiencing this same issue which can be consistently recreated. I'm on a newer version of Forge and the issue still persists.
I'm using:
Storage Drawers: 5.3.8
Chameleon: 4.1.3
Forge: 14.23.5.2825
Minecraft: 1.12.2
At one point, the item can pack afterwards. I’m not sure how. The item icon might not actually be gone permanently. Still, it’s a pretty annoying bug.
I’ve noticed that the item icon re-appears when adding upgrades to the drawer as well. Also, it’s not purely a visual bug, as it won’t accept any items pumped into with cables or conduits unless the icon is there.
