you could maaaybe proposition this dev's curious armor stands to cross compatify with your own armor statues + straw statues mod to do it for you?

Have you tried the mods together? Straw statues are armour stands in the code, maybe it works.

oh! so it does!
I had a different armor stand like mod that did similar mechanics. Player statues. They were basically just armor stands but used a different gui that wasn't yours (I have your mod that does armor stand posing too). I guess their implementation wasn't just an armor stand under the hood which prevented it working and I just assumed it'd only work for base stand after that.

I guess I'll just @diefesson to say they work together. ;D

and Fuzss, maybe you could drop curious armor stands a line somewhere to say they work together incase others want such a feature?

I had a lucky hat on me from artifacts and just rightclicked that onto a straw statue and it went.
