I opened Minecraft with my skin loaded on a straw statue and whenever I turned my head to look at it the game immediately saved and crashed.
I disabled both EMF and ETF on my modpack and the game ran perfectly fine.
I broke the straw statue and closed the game, enabled EMF and ETF, then loaded the world again.
I placed the statue down and nothing happened, but when I tried to load my skin on it, the game immediately crashed again.
My only theory is that I have a feature on my skin for EMF that isn't supported by Straw Statues, but it was working fine when I tried it previously, so I'm not entirely sure.

Report this to EMPF / ETF, they are the ones doing the faulty cast.

Reopening while issue remains present in EMF.
