Spent all day in a creative world trying to tease out a possible issue with Minecolonies, Having a version of the build tool that replaced the building region with air, then built the structure would've saved me a ton of time in finding out that the issue I had experienced was probably elsewhere.

That exists, there are paste buttons in the bottom right, and the scan tool can be used to replace a region with air
