Lava bucket interactions causes water splash particles to spawn, when particle rain is installed

Subtle Effects Version: 1.11.0
Particle Rain Version: 3.3.5
Minecraft Version: 1.21.5
Environment: Linux, Fedora 42

Description:

  • Water splash particles are spawned, when a lava bucket is used with the particle rain mod.

What I expecting to happen was:

  • Lava splash particles spawn when using a lava bucket.

What actually happened was:

  • Water particles spawn when using a lava bucket.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Install Subtle Effects along side Particle Rain
  • Load into any world or server
  • Use a lava bucket in a cauldron or on the ground
  • See water splash particles

Notes:

  • Running: /particle subtle_effects:lava_splash has the same effect.
  • My guess is that particle rain is overriding subtle effects' lava splash particles for some reason.
