Drones sometimes lose items

So i drop a (say) stack of items, assigne them to a hopper and wait some time. When i check it there is 60 items, all of drones are empty. Now the actual amount vanished is inconsistent, but it does seem that a higher proportion vanishes if large amount of items is droped. I've seen anything up to 10 per stack. srdrones 1.1.0.
Thank you for reporting, but I can't seem to reproduce it. In a whole chest full of stacks no items were lost. Are you using any other mods? What item are you dropping? Also if possible, which forge version are you using?
Just so I know how to reproduce it, how many drones are you using and how many items are you throwing at one place at once? Are the drones upgraded? If so which upgrades and how much?

This is really strange, I can't seem to reproduce it, does one of your mods installed do something to items thrown on the ground?
Do you have a core mod installed? Can you force a crash by pressing f3+c holding to for about 10 seconds and releasing it, and paste the crashlog here? I've been trying but can't reproduce it

I've been throwing stacks on the ground for the last hour and not had a single item being lost. I have no idea what the cause is sorry
Not at all! The more tests the higher the chance it will be fixed! Its not like I want items to disappear :P
Although now that i think about it we don't know what information to request from people. What if it dependes on hardware? ... Windows? ...cpu load? Asking people right now would just add the noise.
(have you tried loading cpu and ram with garbage? My system runs at its limits)
Hmmm don't suspect it will be a hardware problem. I seem to be running a newer java version but I don't think that will change anything. Maybe it is in the way I try to reproduce it? How are you throwing the items on the ground? All at once at the same place, stacks thrown around the chest, every item seperated, how far away? Are you really sure they aren't despawning. You said it took 30 seconds but 5 stacks take a couple of minutes for me.
I am just trying to get to the bottom of this. Don't like my drones not listening :P
all of my tests took >2 minutes. I throw down all items in one place, close to the chest. When i tried spacing them out, none were lost. (tried 2 times). Upgraded drones lose items as well.
Just tested with hopper and vanilla chest, in two separate flat worlds. Threw down stacks of stone, diorite, granite. Some of them ended up not full. Whole process took 30 seconds, so nothing despawned. Mod version 1.2.0. Forge 14.23.2.2611. Mods:

I could send a debug build your way that logs a lot of information so I could track what the drones are doing. This would create quite a big log file so if you want to try that it would be best to reproduce it with the least amount of drones and items. Just leave a comment if you want to try that and I'll send the build your way :P
Okay so I just had an item despawn after 60.5 seconds instead of 5 minutes. I have no idea why that happened or if it has something to do with this mod.
Have you ever lost items when using the mod in survival? I just found out the game changes the items to despawn after 1 minute if you are in creative and throw the items from your inventory on the ground (ex. hovering over the items and pressing q, or moving them outside of the inventory area) but not if you drop them by holding them in your hand and pressing q.
Okay! Doesn't matter :p. If you find out you are still losing items just open another issue! I'll close this one now.
