Before Continuing:

• Check you are using the latest version of the mods and its dependencies
• Always include a latest.log if you are crashing
• Remove mod that enhances Minecraft: Optifine, Sodium, others. The issue persists.
• If you are unsure which mod is the culprit.
  Disable all of your mods and enable them 1-2 mods each time to isolate the culprit
• Confirm that there is no existing issue with a similar description submitted in the list of issues.

Issue Detail

This is a minor issue that doesn't affect gameplay.

For each slab variant there are two vertical slab -> horizontal slab crafting recipes. For example: blackstone_tile_slab_from_vertical and blackstone_tile_vertical_slab_2 . Indeed they show up in JEI as two seperate recipes:

Oak hanging sign and oak sign post also has two duplicate recipes each, but the other wood variants are fine.

Have I missed something? Why are there duplicate recipes?
