Issue Detail
Downloaded a client-side mod called Effective, which overhauls some audio and visual effects (most notably, it makes fireballs look prettier.)
After firing a fire charge out of a cannon, the game crashed. The crash logs dont mention Effective at all, but rather a rendering library that it uses called Lodestone. After a bit more testing, i can confirm that the crashes are caused by Lodestone instead of Effective. For larger mods that modify both the client and the server, that also require Lodestone (Namely, Malum, a magic mod that heavily uses the library), this could be a problem when paired with Supplementaries.
To replicate: Download the latest version of Lodestone (or a mod that uses it, like Effective or Malum). Then, put a fire charge into a cannon and fire. The cannon will fire, but nothing will come out. The game will crash and close soon afterwards.
I have only tested this on fabric, but it could apply to forge too, since Lodestone and Malum are mainly developed there.
