Is there a way to disable lock resetting upon death?

I wanted to know if there is a way to disable lock resetting upon death. I am on fabric 1.21.1.

What do you mean reset? Lock block doesn't have anything to do with the player

When I click on an unassigned lock block with a key, it assigns. Then if I die and try to use the key on it again, it has unassigned it so it just assigns it again when I click on it.

Log and relog. If it's bugged it will loose its state on world save, not death. Go death could cause that as ita loading different chunks
