Describe Issue
Attempting to configure Cannonball properties does not yield in any changes. I wish to make Cannonball damage lower, but in attempting to change "power_scaling" or "break_radius" under the supplementaries_common config file, does not change the damage dealt.
How do these two parameters work? Have I misunderstood the config file? Is there an easier way to make Cannonballs break fewer blocks? All help is appreciated :)
Yes, other configs are working.
I tested disabling trapped presents, and I no longer have access to trapped presents, as predicted
You sure even break radius doesn't change the break radius? And a scaling of 0 doesn't make it deal no damage?
Well changing both settings to 0 did prevent the cannonball from dealing any damage at all.
But that's not quite what we are looking for either...
I'm terribly sorry, I neglected to inform you of vital information. I'm working on trying to change the damage output of Valkyrian skies + supplementaries cannon fix mod. Damage is still dealt to Valkyrian skies ships, so it must have to do with that mod. Unfortunatly, there isn't any config file for that mod from what I can see. I shall see if I can contact the mod author and see what can be done.
Well the damage scalar is just a multiplier to the damage applied. 0 will block all damage so it must be working if 0 works
Yes you're right, I have to assume the config is in fact working. I apologize for the time wasted, I have turned my attention towards the next mod I assume is culprit. Thank you so much for your time!
Can confirm, cannonball config changes aren't affecting anything unless the break radius is set to 0. The power scaling attribute doesn't seem to have any impact (tried 0-100, same hole size)
Break radius also doesn't seem to increase past its default setting
(Testing done on v1.21.1)
Pls fix <3
