Describe Issue
When I'm out in the world, I will sometimes hear this one music disc, Pancake from Supplementaries mod, play randomly. It is not positional, it sounds like it's coming from everywhere, and it disappears immediately after I set the jukebox music sounds to 0 and then back up. I'm not sure if this is a Sophisticated Backpacks issue or a Supplementaries issue, so I'm inquiring into both.
Version & Mods
โข 1.20.1 Forge, Java Edition
โข Sophisticated Backpacks
โข Supplementaries
โข Supplementaries Squared
Steps
- Exist in the world
- Occasionally everyone on the server will just start hearing Pancake play as an ambient sound that does not seem to be coming from anywhere
- Turning my jukebox sounds off and on again stops the disc only for me.
- Waiting out the disc usually results in it cutting itself off randomly in the middle.
- I have never found a mob with a backpack from Sophisticated Backpacks nearby while this disc was heard playing.
- It may be possible that moving away from where you first heard the sound can cause it to cut off, but this is unverified.
Expectations
- To not hear random phantom music discs that happen as server-wide events but can be dismissed through client-side actions
Again, I don't know if this is a Sophisticated Backpacks issue or a Supplementaries issue, but when I first heard the disc, I thought it was a backpack until I dug around and found no backpacks within range. I can also provide the full modpack we're using in case there's some API in there that's causing this weird phenomenon.
Here's our modpack list. I haven't gotten a chance to test by turning mods off one at a time, partly becasue there's a lot of them and partly because it's only a random chance for this to happen and it is not frequent enough to be a big issue, just a weird bug.

Mobs that spawn with backpacks can generate with a jukebox upgrade, and when that happens, a random music disc (including a pancake) will be in the jukebox slot. This can be turned off in Sophisticated Backpacks' server config
@Klisz Okay so I found another issue that explained what was happening better. Apparently, Pancake itself was bugged such that it would play loudly at any distance, which included mobs with backpacks, making it seem like the disc was coming from everywhere. Here's the link: #1398
@MehVahdJukaar I will test this with a newer version of Supplementaries though. I assume you're referring to a newer version of the mod for 1.20.1 and not a newer version of the mod that's only for newer vanilla versions?
