Stack overflow from summoning falling ash with BlockState set to snow layer

Was curious if it worked, locked me out of my testing world instead. The crash happened when it landed on another snow layer.
I can't actually put the crash report in a pastebin, as it's too long (since it's a stack overflow, it's just the same thing repeated, like, over 1000 times...)
MC version: 1.19.2
Mod version: 2.2.7
Modpack: All The Mods 8 v0.1.4
Not a feature request or anything, obviously the behavior for non-ash blocks doesn't matter, it just shouldn't corrupt your world
It doesn't corrupt it just crashes as soon as you load as it tries to place itself. I guess I'll kill itself if it's spawned with the wrong block
There is a reason I had to add falling ash as a separate entity. It only works with ash as that's what it was designed to do
