What happened?

I have encountered an issue where the swem horses get stuck in water more than 1 block deep. They won't walk up half-slabs, stairs or 1+ block increments. The only way to get the horse out of the water is to dig till the water level naturally gets below 1 block. This has happened with both tamed and non-tamed swem horses. Using a lead to drag them onto shore has failed, you also can't drag them into the air and set them down with a lead (the lead breaks)

What should happen?

The horse should climb up out of the water when encountering 1+ block increments.

Same here. I'm on Linux.

I just tried out the Mob Catcher mod by tfarecnim to see if it works on SWEM horses (keeps their tack and stats and everything), and it works perfectly! Until the SWEM team fixes this issue, I would recommend using this mod.
