What happened?

After having downloaded all the mods needed to run the game, and getting to the red java screen, my game crashes saying "The game crashed whilst initializing game Exit Code: 255" How can I stop this from happening?

I want to be able to play the game.

@kwizza17 This is more likely not a specifically SWEM problem - and even so you would need to at minimum upload your logs to help identify issues associated with the Mac. If you have a Mac with a new M1 chip it is probably the case that your computer cannot run 1.16 Forge - that is a forge issue not SWEM issue - and will need to wait until the mod ports forward to 1.18+.

Either way I would suggest the following:

• Look up your issue on google to see if you can find a resolution for the exit code before reporting it as a bug.
• Provide your logs in a tech-help channel (ie SWEM discord or another MC modding server)
• Upload a log here too so the issue can be closed if it is unrelated.
• Update your report to says what versions of the mod you are using - those matter if it is mod related.
