What happened?

Using 1.16.5 version of the mod, my horse was wearing a magenta halter, and I was holding a cyan halter. I wanted to enter my horse's inventory to switch halters and I shift-right clicked on the horse with the cyan halter in my hand. The cyan halter appeared on my horse and the magenta halter vanished. It's no longer in the horse's inventory, or in mine. When I open the horse's inventory now, the cyan halter is now in the slot and the magenta halter didn't drop and is gone.

What should happen?

I wanted the cyan halter in my hand to switch places with the halter the horse was wearing.
