Upgrades for Storage Units

The current lack of (smart) item transport options in the Fabric ecosystem has us still build large hopper-based item sorting systems. To bridge the gap until more options become available -while still remaining useful in the future-, I'd like to propose the following upgrades for Storage Units.
Describe the solution you'd like
- Item magnet upgrade: A unit with this upgrade will suck up all item entities in a range of 2 tiles (square) per upgrade.
- Void upgrade: The Unit will void all excess items that are inserted/picked up when it is full.
- Dispenser upgrade: The Unit will shoot out items (Either on redstone signal, on a set interval, or configurable through a GUI.)
Optionally having the Storage Unit require power before these upgrades can be used, to balance things out even more. A variant to these upgrades could also work on Tank Units, having them act as pumps, or place liquids in the world.
