MFE facing direction resets to the way it's placed sometimes

Environment: Forge 1864, MCMP, RebornCore, TechReborn newest as of posting issue (on curse).
How to replicate: Place down a MFE, use wrench to change its direction, then either:
1, place a copper cable next to it
2, right click to open the GUI
MFE then resets its direction to the way it's placed.
