The implosion compressor doesn't care if it has the correct structure. It always says in the GUI that the structure is incomplete and runs no matter what. This may be also true for other machines that require a multiblock structure (I haven't tested)

I think with this I need to bring back the holo graphic rendering of the multiblocks.
