Having an external view to be displayed an a 2nd monitor would be amazing.
It could be a simple html document created locally and updated periodically.
Then the player could monitor the webpage on a specific tab (tab=info book page).

Prior to discovering this mod, I had build my own webpage viewer (screenshots attached).
I don't know java, so I use php to scrape the log file and generate the html pages.

The whole reason I created the mod, was so that the information was available within the game and the player did not have to leave minecraft to get the information, for me this broke the immersion. I wrote another imilar mod for Pixelmon because of the same reason.
Based on this I have no plans to create an external viewer of the information.
