Loot tables use JSON. Everything else uses YAML. We should switch to YAML for loot tables, as well as move them to a "standard" config type with #110 (type: LOOT)

The format would stay mostly the same, so we could make a simple pack converter to auto-update.

we should ideally support both. The main reason being, so people can use loot tables from mc AND in YAML.
