What's the issue you encountered?

In my world, world generation is very slow in game even though ram hovers 4-8 gb when 11 gb are in the server. Worldgen settings on level.dat is huge due to terrablender and causing worldgen to stall.

How can the issue be reproduced?

Walking opening new chunks as it takes 2 minutes to open one chunk despite ram usage below the threshold.
