Describe the bug
when pressing the place item button with an empty hand and a full offhand an empty "placed items" block is formed. it can not be removed by simply updating it, it has to be either broken or filled and then emptied again to remove it.

To Reproduce
place anything in your offhand, nothing in your main hand
press "place item" button on a surface that you can place items on
