When cooling down an item in water, I accidentally threw one of the items onto an aqueduct. After doing so, it was also cooling down, so I continued doing so, and one time this destroyed the aqueduct.

I'm assuming it's caused by the same coding that may destroy a water source block when cooling down an item, since aqueducts share a lot of functional coding with water source blocks.
