I noticed this problem specifically in version 4.0.4-beta. Maybe I didn't notice it in previous versions, or maybe I was just lucky. I doubt it could be a factor, but I use non-standard JVM arguments and several optimization mods (like lithium, sodim, and ferrite core) to reduce internal server latency. Yes, I'm a bit of a masochist when it comes to playing TFC 1.21.1 on a PC with 4GB of RAM and Core 2 Duo :D.

yeah in most conditions crops wont die

Have you determined steps to reproduce this bug? As you say it doesn't happen under all conditions.

I'm not sure if this has been fixed in the new beta versions. I'm also not sure if the problem could be my weak CPU, which sometimes can't fully handle TPS. I need more time to tests.

Okay, to confirm and test fixes for this bug, I need to be able to consistently replicate it. What steps for replication would look like here:

  1. What seed was used to create the world (and if any worldgen parameters like continentalness were modified)
  2. What coordinates the offending crop was planted at
  3. What calendar time (date and if possible time of day) the crop was planted at
  4. Anything modifying the block's hydration (nearby water blocks, or sand/gravel/clay below)
  5. What calendar time the plant was observed to die, if different from 3.
  6. Before posting the above information, check if you can actually replicate the behavior from following the above steps

This is because the change in temperatures and rainfall over time is hard to see from a screenshot, and in the case of temperature highly dependent on the world seed.
