Describe the bug

I placed dirt directly above a torch or slab.
I expected the dirt to fall downwards onto the torch or slab.

2. What actually happened instead (i.e. what was the bug)

The dirt fell sideways away from the torch or slab.

3. If it was a crash, upload the full log file (latest.log)

No crash.

4. If they would help to explain the issue, include screenshots

Dirt falls sideways away from torches and slabs.

Dirt sits on top of blocks when not able to fall sideways:

To Reproduce

1. Place a slab on the flat ground.
2. Place dirt on top of the slab.
3. The dirt falls to the side.
