Damage source for dehydration is same as hunger - dying of thirst says "starved to death"

The text stating cause of death when damage was from thirst was "starved to death".
I had recently taken starvation damage as well, but ate quite a bit to stave it off. Then died of thirst, and starvation? Hunger bar in attachment clearly has plenty of food indicated.
