possibly, we generally don't support optifine on fabric. does it persist without optifine?
Unless they change the model or something and for some reason didnt add a face then I dont know lol

Going to consider this an issue with the resourcepack, I'll close this for now feel free to add any new information you find out if this assumption is incorrect.
Hrm... it does. Ive no idea whats causing it then. Idk how resource packs
work specifically, but maybe theres a conflict there?
