[SUGGESTION] Cosmetic Foci

Currently there is no good way too tell foci apart while switching as using color to tell becomes useless when you have multiple foci using the same effects leaving name the only real way to tell foci part which isn't very efficient so id love to see a better way to tell them apart in some kind of cosmetic foci method, the two main ways i could think of this being done is

-Simply having multiple new foci that just look different with the same stats of existing foci (maybe a version for each foci tier or something) maybe having a electric bolt shaped, fireball/fire shaped and bat shaped foci aswell as a shield shaped one and pickaxe shaped one as i feel like that should cover all the bases you need to tell apart foci
OR
-Having foci be morphic like tools and armor so you can use any item to make your focus visually distinct while switching (you can already sort of do this but morphed foci lose the ability to actually be used)

either way SOME method of making foci visually distinct would be nice and something i think would be a nice QOL feature

One thing that might help is to recognize when foci are placed in the quick circle, they are alphabetized.

this is a really really really late response ik (i honestly just forgot to check this issue again till now) but ya it being hard to implement is why i also suggested two methods, since a morphic foci i could imagine might be impossible to add but the other idea of simply adding accouple new foci with different textures am 90% sure could be done since thaumic aug already adds a new foci with a different texture the ancient focus.

Yea I would like some new cosmetic foci. It would be a really good way of differenciating between different effects. Like Retro said, maybe the easiest would be adding them as new items.

While that is a very good idea I'm not sure how easy that would be to implement. I've said this in other issues/comments before, but Thaumcraft has a nasty habit of being very difficult to work with, so even a simple idea like this can easily become incredibly hard to implement because of how it was programmed (i.e. generally pretty badly). We can keep this in mind at least, but don't be surprised if there's no reasonable way for it to be added.
