Suggestion: A 'lightningrod' for Flux Rifts

One slight annoyance with Flux Rifts is their random (horizontal at least) spawnpoint within a chunk, combined with their random shape and destructive properties. It becomes less of an issue when you bottle one up and precisely place one down where you want it in the lategame. And if you are zany, you can place flux rifts at precisely the right distance away to narrow the central spawning position. But it has the issue that it also makes new rift spawns very rare due to soo many attempts failing.
I thought it could be a welcome feature if there was a device or core of sorts that functioned like warded arcana; indestructible for Flux Rifts, and had the main feature that any attempts by the aura to spawn a new flux rift would prioritize spawning it at that spot dead on.
There could possibly be something like that, although I still wanted flux rifts to at least be at least a minor concern even after getting into the endgame. I know it's possible to cheese it by putting a roof over everything, but I don't really want to encourage spewing out endless amounts of flux because any danger would be contained to a little area, instead of it being spread out over a larger radius to have to worry about.
When I initially thought of the idea, was that it could serve as a mid game tool for some safety and lategame tool for preciscion. I assume that Flux Rifts aren't inherrently dangerous, they don't move much and you can safely stand directly next to one (Hungry node flashbacks). That they are a warning for the eventual taint burst that will spawn from it.
For lategame purposes, I myself was trying to make some sort of design that does something with the largest of rifts. I had learned that flux can only go up to 32767, and as such realized there is a maximum potential size for Flux Rifts. It turned out that the size of 313 actually exceeds the 200 size attainable with the Flux Feeders. So I got interested in making a design for that. I quickly learned that due to their large size and random shapes, there is a very large range in which you can't place interacting machines without risking their destruction. To minimize this range, I wanted to make sure the Flux Rifts could only spawn in one predicted spot. It is possible and I had done so by placing 4 dummy flux rifts sufficiently away, that only the central block turns out to be eligble for the spawn attempt.
I must say it looks rather cool
