This is an incompatibility with cubic chunks. They are missing an operation on the iterator for one of their data structures that is present in vanilla. If you open an issue with them, tell them they need to implement remove on the iterator implementation of CubeSplitTickSet.NextTickListEntryHashSet. I know that removing things here is a bit cursed, but it's the cleanest way to block update ticks on warded blocks.
