I've always wanted a Thaumcraft themed way to fast travel that made sense within the lore.

While gazing into a magic mirror I had a thought.
I know living matter cannot survive the void, but inanimate matter is another story....
I know that a thrown Ender Pearl when it lands teleports the thrower to the point of impact.

Endermen seem to have no issue teleporting vast distances and such, so why should I?
Surely with my studies I can do the same...

The mirror research itself mentions that items can pass through and essentia, but not living matter.
Then I thought what if one threw an ender pearl through a mirror, wouldn't the pearl land in the other side and teleport the player?

The flux might be astronomical, unless something was added to stabilize the link.

Thinking the infusion recipe might be something like 3 ender pearl, 4 void seed, a Primal Pearl, around a Starfield Glass: Mirror block

Not sure how well it'd affect balance to have a focus link to one of the mirrors such as being able to warp back to one's base easily if they got lost in the wilds or were simply far away from any convenient region.

(wishing I was an artist as I'm thinking the icon would look like the Magic mirror, with a primal pearl at the top of it and the diagonal points replaced with ender pearls.)

Functionally thinking one would right click on the mirror with an ender pearl, and you'd need to link mirrors 1 to 1 like their base counterparts..

if I can think of a good thaumonomicon entry I'll add that as a comment though I'd welcome anyone else having a go at it.
