When it explodes, it needs to leave Mucus, a block similar to snow, all around its blast radius. This mucus will replace plants but will not replace normal blocks. So, basically, it explodes, and the ground is covered in mucus.

The mucus slows you down when you walk on it. You can destroy it to get a Slimeball.

This is a purely aesthetic QoL change.
