Change the base Erebus Experience

The idea I have is to make the Erebus less chaotic and more ordered as an experience.
Players will always Spawn, at 1st, in the Elysium Biome. This allows people to have a safe(ish) 'lobby' area to set up a base of operation as the biome itself is relatively pleasant. The player will then be required to craft a dungeon map from things localised in that biome. The map will show biomes and dungeons located around the dimension. All hostile mob spawns will be removed from the Elysium biome and perhaps a few more passive mobs added. Each other biome will retain the open world spawning and random mini-dungeon features so as to keep the main open world feel. Every biome should feature either a major dungeon feature or a random dungeon feature depending on the size of the biome. Ways of promoting the player to explore will be either through advancements, boss dungeon specific loot, possible quests through some NPC/magical unknown thing interaction located only in the Elysium biome. Each boss mob will continue to drop an egg when it is defeated as these will have a specific use (as they have been intended for years) to unlock the final boss fight - but that is not for here atm.

Main dungeons planned are as follows:

  • Volcanic Desert: Antlion Maze Pyramid thing (already Implemented)
  • Sub Savannah: Termite Mound.
  • Underground Jungle: Hornets Nest (a bigger more complex wasp nest)
  • Ulterior Outback: Tarantula Tree (will require a change )
  • Fungal Forest: Fungal Ant Hill.
  • Submerged Swamp: Giant Lilly pad (will gen on large lakes)
  • Petrified Forest: TBC

  • Fungal Forest: Stag Beetle Nest (in a big rotted log type thing)
