The Giant Pumpkin Boss (proper name to be determined) is one of the first Spooky Time bosses you'll face. Be careful when wandering around Pumpkin Biomes... and run if you see a giant pumpkin.

Visuals:
The Giant Pumpkin Boss is a giant pumpkin that looks similar to Pumpklings. It has a large green stem at the top and floats around .5 blocks from the ground. The face at the front of the Pumpkin changes depending on the current stage: it defaults to lit, and turns orange when you start the fight. After reaching stage 2 of the fight, the boss grows in size. At stage 3, the boss's eyes and smile will turn red. Once the boss is defeated, the light will go out, and the boss will fall to the ground, scattering pumpkins and loot around the nearby area.

Stages:
Stage 1:
The boss starts with a default glowing Jack o' Lantern face. It will slowly chase you around and only takes 25% damage from projectiles. It does melee damage and commands nearby Pumklings to attack you in groups.

Stage 2, 175 HP:
The boss's lights turn darker orange, and the stem at the top grows in size. It slows down and starts to fire orange projectiles at you. Nearby Pumpkins gain speed, and lose damage. When the player gets close, the boss's eyes will flash red. After 4 seconds, the boss jumps up and slams into the ground, knocking back anyone who is close and in LOS.

Stage 3, 100 HP:
The boss's lights turn blood red and the boss becomes fully stationary. All nearby Pumpklins disappear in a poof of smoke, and the boss becomes bigger. The stem at the top of the pumpkin travels down and connects to the ground on 1+ sides of the Pumpkin. Breaking animations will appear at the player's feet, which is followed by a stem shooting out of the ground 3 seconds later, which deals 5 hearts of damage to anyone touching it. Stems appear more & faster as the boss HP approaches 0.

Misc:
The Giant Pumpkin Boss has full KB immunity and takes double damage from fire.

Location:
The Giant Pumpkin Boss rarely spawns in Pumpkin Patches. To have a higher chance of summoning him, you'll have to hit a few Pumklings.
