[1.15.2] Lost Cities do not generate or generate correct .toml

The only addition to the pack from above is I updated all of your mods to their latest versions from around 8/9 hours ago!
I will talk step by step what I do:
- Singleplayer
- Create New World
- More World Options...
- Cities (in the top right)
- Cycle through to "onlycities" https://i.imgur.com/MpA5gt5.png
- Done in bottom left
- Turn on Bonus Chest
- Allow Cheats
- Done
- Create New World.
- New world map from spawn https://i.imgur.com/sJtxTrc.png
One thing to note is the lostcities-server.toml generates totally blank https://i.imgur.com/5zKstAl.png

I had the same issue on 1.16.5, and I might have found the problem. Since you all have the problem on modpacks or servers, maybe it would be worthy checking the "defaultconfigs" folder under the main directory. If there's a "lostcities-server.toml", delete it. I had the problem for myself as I copied/pasted all my server configs to defaultconfigs. Now it's solved for me.

Did you enter another world before creating a new one?

I am having the same problem, the cities in the caverns quit generating after updating all of the mods in my pack TownCraft 2.
I am pretty sure it started here - #271
Removing BOP fixed for me
Same issue, using lostcities-1.15-3.0.1-alpha.jar with my own small custom pack.
I tested using the same steps as the OP. The config is empty as well.
I noticed the log for myself and the previous poster share this in common:
"lostcities-server.toml is not correct. Correcting"
"lostcities-common.toml is not correct. "
Mine is a not a server, just a modpack.
