Wierd Generation at the border of the town

there is a weird generation issues at the border of the town, going all the way down to near the bedrock
Has there been any progress on this in the last month? Tried to do some testing of my own, using different generation settings (Default, Quark Realistic, BoP) but no change in results. Sorry if this is unhelpful, I just haven't seen any recent updates on it.

i tried this too :/
I get this problem too, I thought it was the world gen mod like BYG so i tried removing other mods but I still get this bug. I'm not sure how to fix it but it's very very annoying.
