Going from overworld to lost city dimension consistently teleports me just under the floor (or where the floor would be if I didn't remove a block to avoid suffocation). Nearest bed is on top an adjacent building, but it doesn't make a difference if I build another closer bed. SMP server.

Teleporting the other way reliably teleports me near the OW bed without sticking me underground, though I did encounter being stuck underground once. Direct path to sky might have been obscured by plants and/or leaves? This one was single-player from memory.
