No water in cities waterways

I assume these 'canals/ponds' are supposed to be filled with water, but they are not. All cities I flew over are the same. Also not sure if bug or not, but all area around paths is stone or limestone. If I recall in previous versions that was grass.

Additional untested potential bug. It seems that changing the generator options without fully rebooting the game does not apply those new settings. I was trying to test different settings (default, rarecities, cutomized rare cities) I was deleting a world, then creating a new world with the same seed as I want to see how it looks in my chosen world. The cities spawned exactly the same as default, until I completely exited minecraft and relauched. Had to do this for each different config I wanted to test.

I know all devs hate ETA questions, but do you know if the building/water generation bugs are a big fix? We're close to completing our 1.18 mod pack and launching the server for our group. I'd like to include Lost Cities in the overworld, but if these are going to take some time to fix, I can always add it later in LC dimensions only. Thanks again for all your hard work!

The part where the configs were not changing after exiting a world should be fixed in the next version

It also appears that none of the basements are generating. All buildings ladders terminate at ground level and open into a pit of water. (not sure if you want a separate issue created for that)

Was this on a server or single player?

Sorry this was in a SP test world I was creating to eventually bring to my server.

That's fine. Just wanted to be sure. In the future it's best to make separate tickets for separate issues though. But it's ok. I'll try fo fix them :-)

Didn't want to spam your git, I know its a fresh port to 1.18 and bound to have a few bugs. :)
