The monorail system should be continuous like the subways are, instead of terminating every time it enters a biosphere. (Perhaps it could run underground some too.)

No that's not the plan. The problem is that that leaves almost no rooms for cities. What I do plan however is to have better end stations that don't look like they simply cut off right now
