It would be great if there were different paths an aspiring monk could follow that would have a different feel and grant different abilities. Maybe one path leads to water breathing, night vision and flight underwater, and aqua affinity, while another leads to lava walking and other such things, etc. One path might fight an elder guardian instead of a wither. Another might fight the ender dragon barehanded. Perhaps the paths could all lead to giving themselves to the end.

This sort of thing could also lead to mod integration (maybe there's a school of monks that fights or spreads warp from TC6), add-on monk paths, and of course, custom robes for one's order.

The idea of a Botania crossover into becoming a Green Man, get hunger regency earlier, where you walk flowers grow, pat trees to make them grow, and throw mana blasts and light about. Mmmmm
