Impossible to kill information kobold in protected areas

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go into a protected area (tested with lich) without the advancement that unlocks it to get the book kobold to spawn
  2. Try to damage the kobold while still in the protected area

What I expected to happen: The kobold to take damage

What happened instead: The kobold was invincible, and attempting to strike it gave the same green particle effect as trying to break a block
