The Suggestion

The idea is for a a new tree type found in fire swamp biomes, with brownish dark gray logs and roots, ashen leaves, and charred vines growing on them. These trees would have greatly reduced chances for igniting, logs and wood cannot burn away, and leaves, vines, and roots only rarely burn away, unlike regular trees and vines which are infamously fire hazards for any lava pools that happen to be near one.

Naturally, anything that you can make from other wood variants, including Twilight Forest wood variants, can be crafted with these; planks, doors, signs, chests, etcetera.

The leaves would drop sticks and their own saplings. No, it probably doesn't make much sense for a charred and possibly dead tree to drop saplings, but I can't think of a better way to have these be renewable.

The vines, unlike regular vines, cannot grow or spread further, meaning the only way to farm them is to grow more trees, similarly to how you can get vines from jungle saplings or mangrove propagules.

The roots would function similarly to the normal Twilight Forest roots, giving sticks when broken, and possibly also charcoal as well.

A boat made from this tree's planks should probably take longer to be destroyed by fire or lava.

As for general appearance and color, here are the inspirations that gave me this idea, I feel these would be a good references:

Why Should It Be in the Mod?

I find the fire swamp to be a bit barren, and what trees you can already find there I feel are rather out of place (and a bit too flammable for the location). I feel adding a tree specifically for this biome that's thematically appropriate would be a good idea, not to mention that having having more leaf, wood, and plant types for building, especially ones of unique colors, is just generally great to have for a forest dimension mod.
