Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go into Creative Mode
  2. Get the rotating yellow shields from a Fortification Scepter or Advancement
  3. Stand on a Magma Block, in Powder Snow, or in Lava, or get hit by an Arrow

What You Expected

Shields would be unaffected since the player is invulnerable

What Happened Instead

Shields broke as if blocking damage

Additional Details

I tried a handful of things, only the ones listed above worked. Fall damage, Ender Pearl throwing, suffocation, and touching Cacti did not break shields.
This bug appears to apply in Spectator Mode as well, though the only damage I was able to test there was Lava.

Oh, additionally, the shields breaking over time occurs while in Spectator Mode but not Creative
